SR 5.3 earthquake rattles Maluku

Jakarta - An earthquake occurred again in parts of Indonesia. An earthquake measuring 5.3 on the Richter scale (SR) rocked the region Saumlaki, Maluku.
Based on information from the site Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics (BMKG) earthquake occurred at 4:31 am at 6.70 latitude and 130.05 longitude. Earthquake with a depth of 210 kilometers under the sea is no potential to cause a tsunami.
Meanwhile, shortly before the earthquake of Maluku, the earthquake also occurred in Bengkulu. Earthquake with a strength of 5 SR occurred at 65 kilometers southwest of Bintuhan, Bengkulu. The earthquake occurred at 3:22 pm this 24 kilometer depth beneath the sea.
