Although the 2014 World Cup is a few more years, do not be surprised if the end looks exactly like the U-20 final of this year. Brazil will face Portugal tonight, the game
Brazil-Portugal, Bogota, Saturday 20 August, 20:00 (local time) at the stadium Estadio Nemesio Camacho 'El Campin

The teams are both seniors. Brazil ranks fourth and Portugal ranked seventh in the World Cup in July rating. With both countries are so successful at the U-20, we can see the mix of the team in 2014.

Clearly, a successful young do not always translate to successful senior. In fact, the two can drastically relate. However, the rosters can be extraordinary.

Think Brazil. Philippe Coutinho, Henrique and Oscar joined the likes of Kaka, Neymar and Ganso. Sounds pretty darn good, huh?preview brazil vs Portugal fifa u-20 world cup colombia 2011,

What about Portugal? Danilo, Nelson Oliveira and Nuno Reis joined the ranks of Nani, Pepe (who was actually born in Brazil) and of course, Christiano Ronaldo.

Obviously, there are many large international team in the world. And there are plenty of solid teams that will only get better.

However, both countries could be a top-class in 2014.

Brazil has proven that creative attack was not initiated at a senior level. This U-20 players have all shown that they can do wonders with the ball at their feet. As they mature as a player, you can rest assured that they will continue to increase.

As for Portugal, the senior team has some talent and attitude, but U-20 team is all about grit and desire. With their stubborn defense behind Ronaldo & Co, Portugal could be the best team in the world. Obviously, Ricardo Carvalho and Pepe is a spectacular defender. However, they both will be on the wrong side of 30 with the next World Cup.

Once again, three years is an eternity in international football. However, I think this fight could re-occur in the 2014 World Cup Final.

The road to finals
Brazil opened with a 1-1 draw against Egypt muted,, beat Austria 3-0 and 4-0 and Panama. Round-of-16 opponent of Saudi Arabia has been the surprise package of the tournament until then, but the Brazilians when it calmly and cruised to a 3-0 victory.

Pereira treated to a thriller rather than ending up with a squeeze of South America 4-2 on penalties. Ney Franco's side remain faithful with their vibrant attacking style in the semi-final against Mexico, deserved to win 2-0

Brazil has been mesmerizing crowds and experts together with some sparkling attacking football, and has scored 15 goals in the tournament so far. Henrique attacker has emerged as a sharp-shooter off with five goals, followed by Philippe Coutinho and Dudu in three each.

Portugal is the best dark horse, making their progress to the original end surprises. That said, the road to Bogota also has a lot less smooth to Europe than their rivals in South America.

Portugal. They began with a goalless draw against Uruguay, before the two 1-0 win over Cameroon and New Zealand. Last sixteen clash with Guatemala produced again won 1-0, while the quarter-final against Argentina remained goalless for 120 minutes and finally settled on penalties. Portuguese protected their best display so far for the semi-final against France, scoring more than one goal in the match for the first time in Colombia with a 2-0 victory. preview brazil vs Portugal fifa u-20 world cup colombia 2011,
