Video iPod`s ads

iPod Video a surprising new device has been in his appearance, because the quality of new and exciting to offer, you can: playing videos. In addition, the iPod is known, since its emergence in the market, constantly evolving, so that the public and potential customers, higher expectations for this product. With a new offer and design, new product iPod video had a series of new ads, some authentic and suspects because they fake or real look.

Due to the fact that the product was in stores and people do not expect to attend this type of product that has a number of controversial jokes and ads (regarding their authenticity) which appeared in the circle on the web. By providing new and relevant feature of the device, such as video capability, potential customers from the development of the product and thus were surprised, has the purpose of the ads were created. One of these ads represents the iPod video in an unreal shape (ie the actual iPod and other optical properties of the design has another). The announcement was brief and lasted only 15 seconds. The video will begin with the presentation of some corners of this new device, unveiled in electronic.

This is one side of the camera turns and the other has a screen that the latest clip from the band Black Eyed Peas played (Pump It). Music and rhythm is dynamic and fast and so were the characters who danced while driving. Suddenly, the slogan put the new movie was released shortly after the bag and set of new movie hand was cut and released a new set of new iPod on the screen that the introduction of the new iPod.

The controversy surrounding this ad points out that the real video iPod does not have the same characteristics as those of the announcement: The camera itself is very similar to the 1 to 4 Generation of iPods, or the screen buttons, but we showed in advertising has a big screen, which completed one side of the device.

However, there are many ads of the new video iPod, which is undoubtedly genuine. The basic idea of these is the fact that music as much anymore, only to hear can be considered. This is why Apple, the company opted for the integration of famous artists in the advertisements of the products: one of the ads featured U2's Original of the species of Vertigo - Live From Chicago DVD and another two featured Eminem and Wynton Marsalis. Ads with these artists were much larger than usual and play familiar songs, but not with their videos, but the producers for more authentic images illustrating performances of these artists decided it would be natural and spontaneous. The ads for this new product is focused on video playback capabilities of the device and the producers wanted, at the same time, the new range of possibilities that had to offer the new model iPpod symbolize.

The basic idea of advertising was clear, even if they pursue three points very different objectives. Based on the fact that customers create in this new device different cultures and ages, producers and distributors are some artists that represent generations and symbolize the best pick for their taste and lifestyle are: Eminem is for young people and hip-hop, Wynton Marsalis Representative for adults, the classical and jazz music and U2 is like that between two opposite styles.

continued at the same time, ads with the dancing silhouettes with a specific background, the video options. The iPod `s video ads show that the product has developed a greater maturity and optimization of the new features.

CNN ,iPads to cover midterm election results

this news today is Midterm elections are upon us and of course CNN has new technology to deliver every result,  in modern srea ipad is interesting for people use, after the holograms and multitouch display madness (lampooned brilliantly by Saturday Night Live) of 2008, Wolf Blitzer and crew have gone to iPads and augmented reality. Check the video after the break to see how Ali Velshi uses his tablet to make non-diegetic stats and graphs appear right in the studio with him, Fringe/Panic Room style. We can't imagine life without the yellow first down marker during football games, but watching anchors play hide-and-seek behind bar graphs is either taking things a step too far, or just the thing help us stay interested in politics a little longer.ipod (http://www.engadget.com)

Netbook vs. iPod Touch Debate

Netbook vs. iPod Touch Debate
Posted on March 19, 2009 by toddwilliamson

There is currently a debate bubbling just under the surface comparing the iPod Touch to Netbooks for the future of classroom computing. Recently at the NCTIES conference, Cool Cat Teacher, Vicki Davis, mentioned she would rather have a classroom set of iPod Touches than laptops. I want to address a few things I’ve seen floating around these conversations. First of all, I have my own of each and love them. The amount of free and low cost programs that exist for the Touch far surpass anything available for any other phone/PDA, the quality varies wildly, but there are good versions of nearly everything that is out there.

A few limitations on the Touch:
1) Copy and Paste…although it seems little, you can’t copy something from a webpage and paste it into an email. This is supposed to be fixed with the iPhone firmware upgrade coming out this summer, which will cost $10 for Touch users.

2) Google Docs support…At this point in time you can only read Google Docs created elsewhere on the Touch. You cannot edit Docs or create new ones. This may seem like a minor thing as well, but there is no good alternative text entry method for writing anything slightly longer. Zoho Docs seems to work as a basic text editor, but I have not tried it extensively.

3) Video/Audio recording…While the Touch is great for playing video and audio, it is not capable of recording video. There is no camera as there is with the iPhone. Even if there was, the iPhone firmware currently does not support video recording. Those who have “jailbroken” their iPhones are able to record video and stream it through UStream and Qik, but this is against the Apple EULA (for what it’s worth). Additionally, the Touch does not have a built in microphone. It is possible to purchase an external mic which can be used for rudimentary recording, but the apps available to record are very simplistic at the moment.

4) WiFi only access…If your building is wireless this won’t be a problem. If not, then you won’t have Internet connection. The difference in the iPhone and iPod Touch is the way information is sent to each device. The iPhone can operate on AT&T’s 3G network receiving Internet over cell phone signals or via wifi. The Touch only operates over wifi. This can be a limitation if your school does not allow personal devices on the wifi network.

5) Flash support…currently the version of Safari that comes on the iPod Touch does not support Flash animations. This severely limits the capabilities of many online sites/educational games, etc.

6) Small size of the screen…while the screen is significantly larger than most PDAs or cell phones, it still is not optimal for some uses. For example, someone mentioned grade entry. Our school uses an online gradebook system which is accessible from the Touch. The problem is, in order to read the numbers that are entered, you have to zoom in so far that you can no longer see the student names. This makes entering more than one or two grades at a time difficult.

Positives
1) Anywhere access…as long as you have a wifi connection you can take you computer with you where ever you go. The power on the iPod touch is very similar to that of many computers just a few years ago.

2) Kindle for iPhone…though the screen is somewhat small for this, you can download books from Amazon’s Kindle Store. This is a HUGE benefit as the free application saves you the $360 it would cost to go out and buy a Kindle. The functionality of the Touch far surpasses the Kindle for student creativity. The Kindle is purely for consumption of content. Having access to the largest ebook retailer in your pocket anywhere you have wifi access is amazing.

3) Calendar and contact syncing…this is improving with the Touch all the time. Though I haven’t ventured too far into this yet, I believe it is possible to integrate Google Calendar with your iPod Touch now and simultaneously update both your online calendar and your Touch calendar from either the Touch or a computer.

4) iTunes University…Fantastic professional development opportunities await for free. Take college level courses via video podcast. Dive into podcasts from major names in education. This is great for students to see as well.

Overall, the cost of an iPod Touch is significantly less than that of a laptop…unless you start looking into netbooks. The functionality of netbooks exceeds what most people require from their portable computers. My recent NCMSA blogging stint was done entirely from my MSI Wind netbook, which was quite the conversation starter in and of itself. The only thing a netbook lacks that the Touch has, is access to the Kindle Store. For the cost, I’m very satisfied with my netbook…at $350 if it lasts me 2 years, I’m looking at a cost of only about $16 per month of use. The Touch is only $10 per month based on the same time frame. The real question to ponder is, are there applications on the computer that you can’t live without, or vice versa are their applications that put the Touch far ahead of the netbook market. At the moment, there’s only one (Kindle) but that may well change in the near future as more folks begin developing iPhone/iPod Touch apps.

Where do you stand on the netbook/Touch debate? Which do you think will be the future of classroom computing? Or do you see something else entirely filling the classroom niche?

TAIPEI - Kepopuleran penjualan tablet iPad ternyata mengancam keberadaan netbook.

Predicting 2010: iPod and iPhone

Predicting 2010: iPod and iPhone
Written on December 07, 2009 by Darrell Etherington

The dawn of a new year never fails to make me excited about all the potential for new devices we’ll inevitably see released. This year is no different, and for Apple’s iPod and iPhone, there are some storms that have been brewing for quite a while that should break in 2010. Hope you packed a raincoat.

I recently came across my still functional (including decent battery life) 30GB iPod Video while rooting through my drawers looking for a proprietary USB cable. After I charged it and booted it up, the palpable feeling of the HDD platter spinning up, and the faint sound that accompanies said action reminded me of just how far we’ve come, and of how far we’ve yet to go with Apple’s portable devices. Here’s where I think we’re headed next.
The iPod

It’s long been the linchpin in Apple’s lineup of product offerings, and it deserves eternal respect for the role it had in reversing the company’s fortunes, but the iPod no longer enjoys the place of highest favor among Apple products, mobile or otherwise. I predict, as a general trend, a continued downplaying of the iPod’s role at Apple, and significant changes to the products on offer as a result of that trend.

Video Comes to the Touch

Probability: Guaranteed
The evidence all but guarantees that video is meant to come to the iPod touch sooner or later, and I predict it will be sooner, rather than later. Tear-downs of the most recently released iteration of the touch revealed a space perfectly designed for the same camera guts found in the new iPod nano, so unless Apple is just very interested in toying maliciously with Apple rumor hounds, this one is basically in the bag. It doesn’t hurt that it’s the next logical step for the rising star of Apple’s iPod lineup.

iPod Classic Gets Retired

Probability: Possible
It’s served long, and it’s served well, but the HD-based iPod Classic is not long for this world, in my opinion. Apple’s already streamlined the Classic to a single available model, and as the price of flash memory begins to trend downwards again in 2010, I think they’ll do away with the beast altogether and focus on turning Classic customers into iPod touch devotees.

Touch-based Control Returns to Shuffle

Probability: Possible
One of Apple’s most questionable decisions made in the service of sexy design is the loss of any and all buttons on the iPod shuffle. I think it will respond to mixed reviews and consumer skepticism by returning some form of manual (ie. non-voice) control to the device itself. That doesn’t necessarily mean buttons will return, if they can figure out some way to make use of the multi-touch tech it’s so clearly in love with.

Nano Gets Incremental Video Upgrades

Probability: Guaranteed
Look for the iPod nano to get steady improvements in the quality of its video camera, and in what you can do with said video on and off the device. Apple’s made its big changes to the device, and will now move into what amounts to a holding pattern in which it upgrades the upgrades it’s already introduced. And consumers will continue shelling out with each bump up.
The iPhone

Predicting where the iPhone will go is a bit more challenging than making calls about the iPod lineup. The upgrades made with the 3GS were logical enough, since many of them amounted to putting things in that should probably have been there in the first place.

The Usual

Probability: Guaranteed
There are the standard upgrades to be expected with any new model. These things include storage bumps (64GB next time around), improvements to the camera and video recording (bump up to 5 megapixels possible, but by no means a sure thing), and improvements to the processing and graphics rendering capabilities of the iPhone. They’re boring and we know they’re coming, so let’s not waste time on this.

New Look

Probability: Possible
The iPhone is incredibly recognizable, and that probably had something to do with the reason the 3GS still has the same distinctive look as the 3G. Other probable reasons include a rushed roll-out, and more emphasis on internal changes. I think next time around, we’ll be treated to a new look, and I wouldn’t exclude the possibility that we may have already seen some early prototypes of this design change.

Better Peer-to-Peer

Probability: Guaranteed
The future of mobile tech is in peer-to-peer interaction between devices. Apple knows this, and that’s why it opened up Bluetooth interaction between devices when it released iPhone 3.0. I think Apple will make further efforts to make P2P experiences technically better and more seamless in the next update. That might come via improved Bluetooth, or using the recently revealed Wi-Fi Direct tech that Apple’s thrown its support behind.

How to Make Your Car iPod Ready originated by:Ben, Ben Rubenstein, Anonymous, Versageek (see all)

Want to play all those sweet tunes in your car? Do you hate the sound quality of the FM transmitters? Perform the following steps! (Note that this was done in a 1986 Toyota MR2. Simply customizing the steps to meet your own car will make this perform in your car as well!)

  1. 1
Buy a deck/stereo head unit with an audio in plug on the face (such as a JVC Arsenal head unit). You can also buy a cigarette lighter jack splitter to power your iPod on the go.
  2. 2
Relocate the stock car jack/cigarette lighter to the glove box. Plug in the splitter. Your iPod charger plugs into one of the splits and the other split goes back to where your stock location was.
  3. 3
Install the head unit and plug in a 6mm male to male audio wire into the front of the deck and run this wire, along with the car jack/cigarette lighter iPod charger, to the same spot on your car. This is the spot where you want your iPod.
  4. 4
Plug in the charger and the audio cable to an iPod mini dock and secure the dock. Now when your iPod is on it is powered by the relocated power jack and the sound comes in through the deck. The iPod still controls the music.

Who Invented The Ipod? The Complete Story By Kris Foster

The Ipod is a collection of trendy portable music players which was introduced by Apple. It was launched on October 2001. The Ipod is an amazing discovery. It has changed the way people think about music players. Music players are no more old big boxes which look really ugly. The Ipod looks better than any other music player in the market. Apple has had great success with the Ipod. The way the Ipod looks, the way it works, and the way it feels is just amazing. But who's the mastermind behind all this? Who invented the ipod? It surely must have taken a lot of brains to create such a masterpiece.
Who invented the Ipod? Why did Apple think only about a music player? Why not a revolutionary washing machine?
The answer is that all other electronic appliances had very well established markets. But nobody had tried on music players at that time. So Apple thought why not capture this market, and they have so successfully done it.
So, who actually invented the Ipod?
Jon Rubinstein with his team at Apple was given a one year's period to create the Apple Ipod. Tony Fadell and Michael Dhuey were also a part of the team. They successfully completed the project and the did it. This is the team who invented the Ipod.
The Ipod is so successful that it is really difficult to rival it. Ipod has established it's name and people trust on Apple Ipod. Rather than buying unbranded music players for cheap, people try to save money and later buy an Apple Ipod. That's what I also did.
